Education:

• Teaching Diploma – PTD from Bechet College – 1983
• Bible Diploma – Calvary Bible Institute  – 1987
• B.A Degree – UNISA- 1995
• B.A. PSY. HONS. – UNISA- 1999
• Post Grad. Diploma in Economic Principles – University of London- 2004
• H.I. International Training in Evangelism- Singapore – 2009. Served as Excecutive Director of HISA in 2011. Recently in May 2015,  selected to the National Board of HINASA.

Biography:

Born in Sydenham, Durban. Married to Leona Estelle and have three children, Timothy, Esther, and Daniel. Mathematics and Science High school teacher from 1984 to 1997. Taught Mathematics at Newlands East Secondary School from 1984 to 1990. Served as the Mathematics and Science Head Of Department, in Mariannridge Secondary School (1991 – 1997).

Established Shepherd Christian Academy in 1999. Served as principal of Calvary Bible Institute (2000-2002). Currently serving as the  Senior Pastor at Joy Chapel Ministries, in Mariannridge, Pinetown, and Deputy Moderator of the South African Evangelistic Mission.

Served as the Deputy Chairman of ACDP in KZN in 1995, thereafter, as Provincial Chairman of ACDP in KZN from 1996 to 2005.  Served as the Federal Council of Provinces Chairman of the ACDP from 2005-2010.  Served in National Parliament as ACDP MP and Parliamentary Leader from July 2013 to November 2013. Presently representing the ACDP in the eThekweni Municipality as the Caucus Leader and serving as the ACDP Provincial Leader in KZN as well as the Deputy President of the ACDP.
